Extended Last Date For e-KYC

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has extended the deadline for using Aadhaar-based e-KYC services by banks and other financial institutions till March 31, 2019. The earlier deadline was December 31, 2018. The RBI has also said that it will issue detailed guidelines on the usage of e-KYC services by banks and other financial institutions soon.

Aadhaar-based e-KYC is a paperless process of verifying the identity of a person using their biometric and demographic data stored in the Aadhaar database. This service can be used to open bank accounts, get mobile phone connections, etc.

The extension of the deadline comes after the Supreme Court’s judgement on September 26 that struck down Section 57 of the Aadhaar Act. This section had allowed private companies to use Aadhaar for KYC purposes. Since then, there has been a lot of confusion about the status of e-KYC services in the country.

The RBI’s move will now give some clarity to banks and other financial institutions about the usage of e-KYC services. It will also give them more time to make alternative arrangements for verifying the identity of their customers.

The total outlay for the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is Rs 75000 crore. The scheme was launched in 2018 with the aim of providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers.

Under the scheme, each farmer is provided with the annual financial support of Rs 6000, in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each. The first installment is released in April, the second in July and the third in October.

The government has also asked the banks to start distributing the benefit of the interest subvention scheme to farmers from 15th August 2019. Under this scheme, farmers will get a 3% interest subsidy on crop loans up to Rs 3 lakh. This benefit will be available for a period of one year.

The government has decided to extend the deadline for availing of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) to 15th October 2019. The scheme provides financial assistance to farmers in the event of crop loss due to natural calamities.

The government has also asked the banks to provide crop loans of up to Rs 3 lakh at a concessional rate of 4% per annum to small and marginal farmers. This benefit will be available for a period of one year.

These measures are aimed at providing relief to farmers who are facing financial distress due to the recent floods.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 7th Installment

The government has released the 7th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi to eligible farmers. The total amount disbursed under the scheme so far is Rs. 63,200 crores.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a flagship scheme of the government that provides direct income support to small and marginal farmers. Under the scheme, each farmer receives annual financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 each.

The first installment is released during the start of the financial year, while the second and third installments are released in mid-November and mid-February respectively.

So far, more than 10 crore farmers have benefited from the scheme. The government has set a target of reaching out to 14.5 crore farmers by the end of 2020-21.

The scheme has been a game-changer for small and marginal farmers as it provides them with much-needed financial support. It has also helped in boosting agricultural productivity and rural incomes.

The scheme is an important part of the government’s efforts to double farmers’ incomes by 2022.

Validity Of Beneficiary List Of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi

The government has released the first list of eligible beneficiaries under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Jammu and Kashmir. The scheme will provide Rs 6,000 per year to small and marginal farmers in the state.

However, there are concerns about the validity of the beneficiary list as it includes a large number of people who are not farmers. There are also reports that some of the names on the list are fake.

The government has said that it is looking into the matter and will take action against those found to be ineligible for the scheme. It has also urged people to come forward and submit their application forms if they have not yet done so.

It is hoped that the scheme will help increase the income of farmers in Jammu and Kashmir and improve their standard of living. However, the success of the scheme depends on its proper implementation. There is a need for transparency and accountability in the process of selection of beneficiaries and disbursement of funds.

The government should also take steps to ensure that only genuine farmers benefit from the scheme. Otherwise, it will defeat the purpose of the scheme and create resentment among those who are truly in need of financial assistance.

Transfer Of Profit

The government has decided to transfer three profit-making public sector enterprises (PSEs) to the NITI Aayog. The move is part of the government’s efforts to privatize these companies.

The three PSEs are Hindustan Fluorocarbons Ltd (HFL), Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), and Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL). The decision was taken at a meeting of the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The government plans to sell its stake in these companies to private investors. The NITI Aayog will help in the process of disinvestment.

The move is part of the government’s wider strategy to privatize public sector enterprises. The government has already sold its stake in a number of PSEs, including Air India, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Zinc.

The government plans to raise Rs 1 lakh crore through the sale of its stakes in PSEs in the current financial year. The money will be used to finance social welfare schemes and infrastructure development projects.

The privatization of PSEs is a controversial issue. Some experts believe that it will lead to job losses and reduce the government’s control over strategic industries. Others argue that it will help improve the efficiency of these companies and benefit the economy in the long run.

The government should ensure that the privatization of PSEs is done in a transparent and efficient manner. There should be adequate safeguards to protect the interests of employees and other stakeholders.

The process of disinvestment should be closely monitored to ensure that it does not lead to the monopolization of key industries by private players.

The Samman Nidhi Yojana is a scheme of the Government of India that provides financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in the form of a direct transfer of Rs. 6,000 per year. The scheme was launched on 1 February 2019 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The scheme is implemented through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode and the money is transferred directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers.

However, it has come to the notice of the government that there are many farmers who are ineligible for the scheme but have been receiving benefits under it. In order to ensure that only eligible farmers receive benefits under the scheme, the government has decided to withdraw the scheme from such farmers and return the amount of Rs. 6,000 that they have received so far.

This is a good move by the government as it will ensure that only those farmers who are actually in need of financial assistance will receive it. It will also save the government a lot of money which can be used for other development programs.

Kisan Samman Yojana 20 Lakh Ineligible Farmers Will Have To Refund

The Kisan Samman Yojana is a government scheme that provides financial assistance to farmers in the form of a cash benefit of Rs. 6,000 per year. However, it has come to light that many farmers who have availed of this scheme are ineligible for it and will have to refund the money to the government.

As per reports, around 20 lakh farmers across the country are ineligible for the scheme and will have to refund the money they have received from the government. The ineligible farmers include those who have already been receiving benefits under other government schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana.

The government has also found that many farmers who have availed of the Kisan Samman Yojana benefits are not actually registered farmers.

This is a serious issue as the Kisan Samman Yojana is a flagship scheme of the government and is meant to provide financial assistance to farmers who are struggling to make ends meet. It is not meant for those who are already receiving benefits from other schemes or are not registered farmers.

The government is now taking steps to ensure that only eligible farmers receive benefits under the scheme and those who are not eligible will have to refund the money they have received.

This is a good move by the government as it will help to ensure that only those farmers who are actually in need of financial assistance will receive benefits under the scheme. It will also help to prevent misuse of the scheme by ineligible farmers.

Process Of Refund Of Money Under Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme

Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, farmers are eligible for a refund of up to Rs. 2 lakhs per year. The process of refund is as follows:

  • After receiving the documents, the authorities concerned will verify them and initiate the process of refund.
  • The amount will be transferred to the farmer’s bank account within 10 working days from the date of approval.
  • The farmer can then use the amount for any purpose as per his/her discretion.

In case a farmer is unable to repay the loan amount within the specified time period, he/she can submit a recovery form to the authority concerned. The recovery form must contain the following information:

  • Aadhaar number.
