Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG 2002): Apply at cuet.samarth.ac.in

Postgraduate admissions are now possible using CUET or Common University Entry Test PG2022. For postgraduate programs, the PG entrance exam is scheduled for July’s last week. This single exam will guarantee entry to all universities that are centrally run based upon merit. CUCET PG Courses Applications will open on May 19, at nta.ac.in/cucet.nta.nic.in

Computer Based Test Mode (CBT), will be used for the CUETPG2022. Applications will be accepted until June 18. The Postgraduate Entrance Test will be conducted by NTA for 42 Central Universities and other participating universities for the academic session 2022-2023. Students will have one window to apply for admission to participating universities in the country through CUET.

CUCET PG 2022 or CUET PG 2022 notification would be released by the National Testing Agency on its official web portal, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. CUET would conduct the Central Universities Entrance Exam PG 2022. Common entrance test pg, or Common University Entry Test PG is used to admit students into PG Programs.

CUCET PG Exam 2022

One of the most significant reforms to Indian education in recent years is the Central Universities Common Entrance Test, or Common University Entrance Test. The government plans to use the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to determine admissions to 54 of the central universities in the academic year 2022.

According to reports, the National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET, replacing multiple entrance tests for admission into various postgraduate, undergraduate and research programs offered by central universities. Recent statements by Delhi University indicate that they will conduct 2022 admissions based on the CUET scores and results from class 12 boards.

The most important impact of this common “high-quality aptitude” test for admission to 54 universities central is the common platform that will be used for evaluating the student’s merit. The test can be taken by students in 10+2, Master’s Degree Holders, or Bachelor’s Degree Holders to determine if they are eligible for admission to the UG/Integrated Program/B.Voc. and Post Graduate Program respectively at these Central Universities.

Online applications are only accepted. Candidates can only apply to a program with three or more PUs. Each PU has three courses. It will be held at various centers in the country. CUET PG details

  • CUET PG was introduced in the university system for the first-time. It is anticipated that it will provide a single window to allow students to apply to various universities.
  • In the first week in July, the mandatory entrance exam for undergraduate admissions to all 45 Central Universities will take place.
  • Common University Entrance Test is a computer-based exam that will be administered by the NTA.
  • Application window will open for examinations in April’s first week.
  • These universities’ undergraduate admissions will now be solely determined by the CUET score. Class 12 Board scores will no longer carry any weightage.
  • Each university will accept students following the CUET.

Multiple choice questions will be asked in CUET based on NCERT textbooks. Students who answer incorrectly will get a negative mark. There will be three parts to the entrance exam. The CUET is available in thirteen languages: Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati as well as English, Telugu.

Two shifts will be used for the exam. The first shift will see candidates appear for Section I (languages), their two domain subjects, and the general exam. They will then appear in the second shift for Section I (languages), two chosen domain subjects, and the general test. Students from international countries are not eligible for CUET. Admissions to the university will continue on an existing supernumerary basis.

CUET PG Application fee:

General/OBC/EWS applicants pay Rs800, while SC/ ST/ Transgender candidates pay Rs350. PWD applicants are exempt from paying the application fee.

How to apply for CUETPG

Only online applications are accepted. Online applications are not accepted. Candidates are strongly advised to carefully review the eligibility requirements before applying for the course. Different universities may have different criteria. Students are responsible for not being eligible for courses.

The form requires applicants to be exact in filling out the information. After submitting an online application, candidates can pay for the program they have chosen by either online or offline payment. Candidats can fill out the application in part and then log back to finish it. At the time of registration, candidates will be notified by email and SMS.

Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates should bring a digital photo and signature of good quality.
  • The applicant must ensure that the information is correct and complete.
  • After submitting an online application, successful applicants will be able to make payment via Online or Offline modes for the selected program.
  • The applicant may fill out the application partially, then log back in to finish it as soon as possible.
  • All applicants will be notified by SMS or email at the time they register and after they have completed the registration.
  • Candidats can only apply to a program with three or more PUs and a maximum number of options for courses within each PU.
  • If a candidate wants to choose additional PUs or courses, he/she may pay the required fee once again.
  • The bank fees (which may be levied by SBI) are not payable if the applicant pays for the exam fee via Offline Challan.

Provisional admission to CUET is allowed only after final verification of marks/degrees/ certificates and validity of certificates/mark sheets of qualifying exam. Candidates must also prove that they have not been involved in unfair practices in previous University Examinations/ Entrance Tests.

Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam can apply for CUET. However, they will need to present the degree/mark sheet at admission counseling proving that they meet the eligibility requirements.

A candidate cannot be admitted to the Course if he/she does not meet the eligibility requirements.

Inadvertently appearing at an Entrance Test if the applicant does not meet the minimum eligibility requirements will result in the applicant losing the right to later claim that they have met the requirements. If it finds that the applicant is not eligible, Concerned University may cancel or refuse admission.

(i) There is no minimum eligibility requirement.

(iii) Fake documentation or facts were suppressed.

(iii). Any other valid reason.

Candidate admitted to any course at the University concerned shall not be allowed to take another full-time degree in that or any other institution.

Pattern for CUET Question Paper:

All question papers will be MCQ based and consist of (i) Part 1: English Language, general knowledge, math aptitude, analytical skills – which includes 25 MCQs

(iii) Section B: Domain Knowledge, which consists of 75 MCQs. You can have one, two or three sections. You can find 25 questions in each section. The front cover of Test Question Booklet specifies that a candidate must answer 75 questions in each of the X sections. He must make sure he completes the OMR Sheet correctly for the questions attended.

(iii). For instance, part B of the Entrance Test Paper (eg. The UGQP01 shall be divided into four sections, namely. Each section consists of 25 questions in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates will be asked to take any combination of PCM and PCB in each section. The candidate should ensure that they have taken the respective subject at either 10+2 or Preboard, or an equivalent qualification exam.

(iv) Candidates are required to complete X amount of Sections on an Entrance Test Paper. However, if candidates attempt all sections of the paper then only the top ‘X’ sections will be accepted for the preparation of Merit lists.

(v) For Admission to some Integrated Courses/B.Voc./MBA/MCA/LLB or any other general course(s), only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/ numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.

vi) Candidates will be required to select one correct answer, and then mark the OMR Sheet. If a candidate marked multiple answers to a question in OMR Sheet, it will be considered a wrong answer and subject to negative marking.

(viii) Every paper is limited to two hours in duration.

CUCET-2022 will have negative marking. Every correct answer will earn 01 points and each incorrect answer 0.25 marks. In order to prepare the final merit list, questions not answered will be ignored and will not count.
