The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the exam dates for the Common University Entrance Test UG (CUET UG) on its official website, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. CUCET registration closed on May 31, and the exam will be conducted in July. The first half of July is expected. The CUET has attracted nearly 10 million students, making it the second largest exam in India after NEET 2022. For UG admissions into the 2022-23 academic year, a total of 44 universities from central India, 12 state universities and 11 deemed Universities, as well as 19 universities in private, have submitted applications for the first edition of CUET.

CUET UG Exam Dates details

The CUET-UG exam will take place for the first time and will cover over 300 courses. CUCET-UG will consist of two parts. Part A will contain 25 multiple-choice questions from English and Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, as well as Reasoning skills, general awareness, and 75 questions on subject-specific topics.

All examinations will take place in English, other than for the course of language. The exam lasts approximately 2 hours. For correct answers, each question will carry 4 marks. Each wrong answer gets 1 mark.

Candidates from all parts of the country will have equal chances and a platform to apply for the Common University Entrance Test. This includes candidates who are from remote and rural areas. It also helps establish better connections with Universities. The candidates will be able to take one exam and participate in the admissions process for various Central Universities.
