AP IIIT Entrance Test Government Order: This year, a Common Entrance Test will be held for AP IIIT Admissions 2021 under the name of AP IIIT Entrance Test 20201. This is the reason why an amended Govt Order was issued for RGUKT Act 2008.

AP GO RT152 Information: According to the Statute 13.(4) of RGUKT Admissions are based upon marks obtained in Secondary School Certificate Public Examinations (SSC). The Covid-19 pandemic has prevented the Board of Secondary Education in Andhra Pradesh from conducting the SSC public examination March 2021.

According to RGUKT Act 2008, Statute 13(4) reads: “The merit of an applicant is determined by the Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard), obtained from one of them.”

The Board was unable to conduct the SSC public examination in March 2020. Therefore, marks obtained in the SSC cannot be used for Academic Year 2020-21. This means that the merit of students can not be considered for admission into various RGUKT courses.

To determine merit for the academic year 2021-22, an entrance exam based upon the 10th Class syllabus as prescribed by Government of Andhra Pradesh is necessary.

In exercise of section 25(1) RGUKT Act (2008), Govt. This Act modifies the Statute 13(4), first Statutes RGUKT to replace the existing Statute-13(4).

This is the amended Statute-13(4): The merit of students will be determined for Academic Year 2021-22 through a Common Entry Test that uses the 10th-class syllabus of SSC Public Examinations as prescribed by Government of Andhra Pradesh. RGUKT, the Chancellor is requested to investigate this matter.
