AP DEECET Online Application Details

The AP DEECET exam will take place in Telugu and English mediums, with 100 marks. Questions will be asked to candidates on topics such as general English/Telugu knowledge, general English/Telugu mathematics, and physical, biological, and social sciences.

Criteria for AP DEECET eligibility

Education qualification: Candidates must have a 12th-grade pass certificate. For both the A and B categories, the candidate must have attained 50 percent aggregate marks on the qualifying exam. For both A and B-category seats, the minimum mark for Scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe and physically challenged candidates is 45 percent

Maximum Age: Candidates must have at least 17 years of age as of September 1. No upper age limit is set.

What to do?

Candidates can submit their applications through the official website apdeecet.apcfsss.in. The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the AP DEECET(DIETCET) / DIETCET website https://apdeecet.apcfss.in/ and go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for AP DEECET(DIETCET).

After confirming that the candidate meets all eligibility requirements for AP DEECET, (DIETCET), the applicant will pay a Rs.200.00 fee through APONLINE and e-Seva to submit an online application. The candidate must provide the necessary preliminary information at the APONLINE and e-Seva Centres.

The candidate will be given a Journal Number upon receipt of the fee at APONLINE/e-Seva. This number allows her/him to submit an online application. The issue of a Journal Number is not a confirmation that the applicant has submitted an online application. This is a confirmation that the payment has been received.

Candidates must follow instructions online for filling out the online application. Before filling out the online application, candidates should have a photograph measuring 3.5X3.5cms.

Copy the image onto a piece of white paper. Sign below in Black Ink. See the above sample. Make sure that your signature fits in the appropriate box. Take a scan of the size you need to include the signature and the photo.

Before filling out the Online Application Form, there are some initial steps. Application Fee: Rs.500/= is required to submit an online application and conduct the examination. 2. How to Apply Online

i. The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the DEECET website http://deecetap.cgg.gov.in and go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for DEECET, 2022.

ii. After confirming her/his eligibility for DEECET, the candidate shall pay Rs.500/– through Payment Gateway between 04-04-2020 and 05-05-2025 for online submission. The candidate will be given a “Journal Number” upon receipt of the ONLINE fee. This number can then be used to submit an online application. The issue of a Journal Number is not a confirmation that the applicant has submitted an online application. This is a confirmation that the payment has been received.

iii. The online submission procedure for the application must be followed as described in the “Information Bulletin” and as per instructions given online when filling out the application form. Before filling out the online application, candidates should have a photograph measuring 3.5×3.5cms. Photo width = 3.5 cm

IV. Copy the image onto a piece of white paper. Sign below in Black Ink. See the above sample. Make sure that your signature fits in the appropriate box. Take a scan of the page containing your signature and photograph. Do not scan all pages. You must scan the entire page, including signature and photo. The scanned image should not exceed 50kb. Adjust the settings to the scanner for dpi resolutions and color options if the file is larger than 50kb.

Application without a photo, unclear photograph or a small size photo will not be accepted. These candidates will not receive a hall ticket. After pressing the “UPLOAD” button, verify that the image is clear, of the required size and belongs to the candidate whose details will be entered in the application. If your photo is not of the correct candidate, or too small in scale, press the ‘UPLOAD’ button. Then start scanning the image.

After receipt of your application, complaints regarding mismatches in photograph or candidate information will be rejected. No complaints regarding Name, DOB or Community will be accepted after the last date for receipt of application. No exceptions shall apply

v) Initial steps to be followed before filling Online Application Form a) Go to http://deecetap.cgg.gov.in

b) Please click on the Application Form.

c) Select the dialog box, i.e. WELCOME to ONLINE APPLICATION.

d) Next dialogue box: Confirm (fields marked with an ‘* are mandatory).

e) Type your ONLINE Journal Number, Date of Payment and Birth.

f) In the box titled “Attach your most recent photograph” Click on Browse button to attach the photograph along with your signature.

g) Click on the Declaration button and then enter the Verification Code.

h) Click Here to Upload

i) Your application will be open.

j. After the application forms are opened, verify that the photograph is clear, of the required size and belongs to the candidate whose details will be entered in the application. If you find the image is not of the correct size or clear, please press the ‘BACK” button. Then start scanning the photo.

k) Confirm the ownership of the photo and the specifications.

iv. Candidates should correct any errors made after submitting the online application. The examination center will only accept the nominal roll. Photograph complaints will not be accepted.

v) Applications will never be accepted in any form of paper. Stepwise detailed instructions for filling online application are given in the ‘USER GUIDE’ available on the website http://deecetap.cgg.gov.in. Candidates are reminded to correct any errors in their online applications. After submission of the online application, no corrections are allowed.

  • Once a fee has been paid, it will not be refunded.
  • Not being allowed to take part in the DEECET does not mean that they have been verified as eligible. A person cannot be admitted to the DEECET by qualifying for it. Final verification of eligibility will be done by the Convener during counseling to admit those who have been provisionally chosen.
  • False, incorrect or inexact information can result in the cancellation of your test results and possibly even criminal prosecution.
  • Requests for revisions, evaluations, or inspections of answer sheets will not be accepted.

    After you have reached the AP DEECET website portal, click the ‘Application fee Payment’ link on the homepage under the application section. The screen will open to a new page.


  3. Complete the Payment Form Details

    The ‘Payment Verification’ web page will be displayed on your screen after you click on the “Application Fee Payment” button. Complete all fields, including the Qualifying Exam Hall ticket Number, candidate name, date of birth, course name, mobile number, and payment mode.


  4. Go to the Payments Page by clicking on the Proceed button

    Once you have entered the required details, select the type of card in the Payment Formula and click on the “Proceed To Payment” button. The Payment Gateway page will then appear.


  5. Pay

    The Payment gateway page will open after you click the “Proceed To Payment” button. You will need to provide the card related details (Card number and expiry/from date, security code / CVV number, etc.) as well as the payment fee. You will see the confirmation that you have successfully paid the Registration Fee in the Payment Status page. This item is also displayed with your Payment Id. This web page will automatically redirect to a new page after successful payment of the fee.


  6. You can click on the Know your Payment Status button

    The status of your payment can be checked by clicking the Check Your Payment Status tab after you have paid the Andhra Pradesh DEECET fee. Enter your Qualifying Examination Hall ticket Number and Mobile Number. Next, click the Check Payment Status button. This will allow you to view the current status of the payment.


  7. Select the Proceed to Fill Form button

    The successful payment of the fee for Andhra Pradesh DEECET will allow candidates to either fill out their application right away or later. To fill out the application instantly, click on the Proceed to Fill Application button. You will then be taken to the Application Form. Now, fill in all required details and then click the ‘Proceed To Fill Application’ button.


  8. Complete the Application Form.
